Watch for the Daisy's in the Owatonna store windows. At each of these businesses you can enter into a drawing for gifts! While you are in the stores have your Spring Fling card stamped, with ten stamps you will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing for an Owatonna Getaway!
This City wide promotion will kick off with a luncheon and style show on Saturday, April 10th at St. John Church. Guests will enjoy lunch prepared by Central Park Coffee, fashions from Kristi’s, j.jules, Owatonna Shoe, Gates of Pearl, Completely Kids, and St. Clair’s for Men. Mini seminars by Oak View Nursery, Cedar Floral, and Turtle Creek Nursery will give guests great spring decorating and gardening ideas. The luncheon is being hosted by the Steele County Historical Society(SCHS) and is a fundraiser for the History Center Project. Luncheon tickets are $15 and may be purchased at Kristi’s, Central Park Coffee, the SCHS office, and j.jules. Guests will be given a stamp card to take to participating businesses (no purchase is necessary). Once the card is full they will be entered in a grand prize drawing valued at $500 for an In-Town Get-A-Way that includes a limo ride from McCabe Motors, dinner for two at Torey’s, a suite at the AmericInn, flowers, and more! For those that don’t attend the style show, all 50 participating businesses will have cards available at their stores. There will also be an opportunity to register at each local business for a prize specially chosen by that business as part of the “Spring Fling” promotion. The total value of prizes for this promotion is over $3,000! The drawings will be held on May 8th, just in time for Mother’s Day! Customers may enter as many times as they’d like to for all the prizes offered. Watch for the flowers at each participating business.
