Cards from the crop this weekend

I stopped by the crop on Saturday to see what everyone was up to. There was a lot of creativity in the room! Sara was had made these lovelies...
Kathey was using a neutral color scheme for her cards. Lots of punching and stamping...

Then she moved on to making announcements for her daughter's confirmation. They are a gorgeous tri-fold!

I also photographed the cards they group made for the card class. Even if you can't attend the entire crop, you can sign up to take the card class each month. Here are the cards they made this weekend...

Please call Kathey at 451-3920 if you would like to sign up for one of our crops!

Loving the new stamps...

...from Our Daily Bread. They really stamp well and are beautiful designs. I colored this one with Copic markers and used distress ink as well as lots of pop dots for dimension.

Birthday Parties

Do you struggle with what to do for birthday parties for your children? Studio Getaway has an idea for you, we can come to the place of your party and do stamping or scrapbooking craft with the children. This is a sample of a party I just did this last weekend. The children had a great time and the parents only had to set up the food and enjoy the party! I took care of the entertainment.

New Stamp Company

I am very excited to announce the arrival of a new stamp company to Studio Getaway. My Daily Bread Designs. I have attached a link to their blog, check it out. They have wonderful verses and great samples on their website. You will notice they are all religious images and verses.

Lucy Bird & Rose Bud Pink

Studio Getaway got this very cute paper in a few weeks ago. It's from the Lucy Bird Line from Imaginisce. The stamp is from the same line, and since it's a Snag' Em stamp, it's only 99 cents (I love Snag 'Em stamps for that reason!).
In the same order, we got this vibrant pink color of Memento ink. I immediately saw that it would be a great match for the Lucy Bird line.

This is one of the cards I made using the combination. I stamped 3 times in the Rose Bud ink the scalloped circle image and cut them out. Using pop-dots I mounted die cut hearts in the center of each. I imitated the scallops again using a border punch and another pattern from the Lucy Bird line. I love how it turned about and think it would make a great Valentine or anytime card!

A different kind of love

I challenge my self to create a page about love using some of the new Pink Paislee Valentine papers that was not Valentine themed. This pale blue heart dotted paper reminded me so much of a onesie my oldest boy wore when he was just a tiny little baby. So of course I thought of a "Baby Love" themed page.
The blue paper was diecut on the Cricut and I cut my title, too, using a computer program. I punched some tiny yeloow hearts and toped them with Stickles for some sparkle.
