You stole my heart

Once again, I utilized the BoBunny Love Bandit paper to make this layout. Can you tell I love the stuff? I trimmed out the little racoons and popped them on one of the mats from the sheet I showed you 2 posts ago. I added a few rhinestones to the flowers. Then, I trimmed out the phrase from the same sheet to use as my page title.
Please notice that green DoubleDot border piece! I punched it with one of the new Martha Stewart Deep Edge Punches. If you haven't seen them yet, come into the store and check them out. They are about twice the size of her regular punches and are perfect for scrapbook pages!

Holiday Ideas Day 10

Today Studio Getaway has 2 more videos for you. Both are showing how to make treat boxes! The first shows how to make a tree shaped treat box which is cut on the Cricut machine using Tags, Bags Boxes & More, Evergreen BoBunny Paper, and acetate (aka transparency sheets). I also use Terrifically Tacky Tape, a storng adhesive with a removeable red liner (aka Red Line Tape).
The second box used the same supplies, but is handmade rather than cut on the Cricut. Both are incredibly easy to assemble!

Gettin' Inky with It

I was making a project the other day, and thought I would use it as an opportunity to share one of my favorite techniques: Distress Inking

The flowers on the bottom row are plain, but the ones in the top row have been inked. Notice how the layers stand out more from one another when the edges are inked. Simply drag your inkpad around the edges of the paper at a 45 degree angle. On these flowers I used chalk ink, but most ink pads will work for this technique.

It is a simple way to add a lot of dimension to your projects. Try it!
